Links a custom-typed user_list (left side: user_list with listType='custom') to an arbitrary item it contains (right side: any entity type). Carries a generic state machine (pending, done, abandoned) for kinds that do not fit any predefined listType. Supports an optional priority flag and an optional 1-based position when the parent user_list is ordered.
Links a desiderata-typed user_list (left side: user_list with listType='desiderata') to an arbitrary item it contains (right side: any entity type, e.g. book, literary work, persona). Carries the acquisition state of the desideratum (pending, found, abandoned), the date it was acquired, and an optional priority flag to highlight items the user most wants to find first.
Links a reading-project user_list (left side: user_list with listType='reading_project') to a work it contains (right side: book, literary_work, or translated_literary_work). Carries both list membership and the reading state for that work in the context of the list — the same status enum and date fields as reads_v1 (to_read, reading, finished, abandoned). When a work is on a reading-project list, this record is the consolidated source of truth for both 'on the list' and 'reading state'; a separate reads_v1 record is not required for that intersection.
Links a reader persona (left side: reader persona) to a creative work representing a reading experience (right side: book, literary work, or translated literary work).
Links a recommendations-typed user_list (left side: user_list with listType='recommendations') to an arbitrary item it contains (right side: any entity type). Tracks whether the user has acted on the recommendation: pending, followed_up, or dismissed; optionally records the date of follow-up.

Optional position records the canonical order within the source (e.g. order of mention).
Links a wishlist-typed user_list (left side: user_list with listType='wishlist') to an arbitrary non-acquirable target it contains (right side: place, settlement, organization, performance, etc.). Tracks whether the target has been visited or experienced (pending, visited, abandoned), optionally records the visit date, supports an optional priority flag for must-see items, and an optional 1-based position when the wishlist is intentionally ordered.

Each data record carries a $schema field pointing to its schema URL. You can validate that a record conforms to its schema using any JSON Schema 2020-12 compatible tool. For example, with ajv-cli (Node.js):
npm install -g ajv-cli ajv-formats
ajv validate -s https://public-schema.com/biblioteka/entity/book.json -d record.json
JSON Schema validation checks structure and types, but cannot enforce every business rule. The Deno scripts below check constraints that go beyond JSON Schema — for example ISBN/ISNI checksums, name-array consistency, and connected-graph requirements for multi-associations.
The scripts read JSON from stdin and write errors to stderr. Zero-permission mode:
cat record.json | deno run https://public-schema.com/dist/validate.ts
Deno caches remote scripts aggressively. Add --allow-net=public-schema.com so the script can verify its cached hash against the published version:
cat record.json | deno run --allow-net=public-schema.com https://public-schema.com/dist/validate.ts
If the cached copy is outdated the script exits with code 2. Refresh with:
deno cache --reload https://public-schema.com/dist/validate.ts
